Currently, he is one of the few Yoshinkan Aikido Master whom has received a hand written 6th Dan Certificate and Level 1 Instructor Teaching Certificate from the late founder before his passing in 1994. During his training days in the 60's and 70's in Tokoyo Japan, Shihan Francis Sammy has also made Malaysia proud by winning the best foreign team in the all Japan Yoshinkan Aikido Demonstration and was awarded the best foreign student and the most disciplined foreign student award for his vigorous training during the winter season in Japan together with the elite Tokyo riot police task.
The art also encompasses acupressure (shiatsu), the study of Kodachi-Iai Shinden Fudo Ryu (short sword draws) and subduing an opponent through focusing on ki and pressure points. Mushin-Do is suitable for dan grades and people of a mature nature because of the uplifting feeling one gets when practising the art. There is no great physical effort required to practice it.

MUSHIN-DO/ MUSHIN WADO SHINPO
Soke/Kancho: Shihan Francis Ramasamy, Founder of Mushin-Do Malaysia & Mushin-Do International (Founded in 1984 with members in England, Italy, Australia and Kuwait), 7th Dan Yoshinkan Aikido, 6th Dan Wado Shinpo, 6th Dan Iai Shinden Fudo Ryu Iaido, 2nd Dan Kodokan Judo & 2nd Dan Kendo.Shihan Francis has trained directly under Inoue Kancho supervised personally by the late Soke Gozo Shioda, founder of Yoshinkan Aikido. The hand written 6th Dan awarded to Shihan Fancis Sammy by the late Yoshinkan Aikido Founder, Soke Gozo Shioda
The 6th Dan in Wado Shinpo as well as the Menkyu awarded to Shihan Fancis Sammy by the late Wado Shinpo founder, Soke Hayakawa Soohoo
In 1984, Shihan Francis founded his art of Mushin-Do. Mushin-Do is the way of the empty mind - form to formlessness; the transition from seen techniques to unseen techniques. It encompasses studying the arts of aikijutsu, Yoshinkan combative systems, kenjutsu, iaido, jojutsu, atemi-waza and executing techniques without celebration; with a feeling of 'metta' (loving kindness). The latter is a Buddhist virtue expressed in the arts of peace or the ways of harmony aiding development of the Conscious Mind, the Subconscious Mind and Superconscious Mind leading to spontaneous reaction or mushin
